We want to thank you for visiting this space in which you will find information about our youth ministry called "24/7".
Our MISSION for this year (2010) is:
"EXTREME RENEWAL" Romans 12:1-2.
• General Purpose.
Transform the minds of the youth by teaching the pure Word of God, by instructing them how to apply what they are learning to their every day lives, and by helping them to understand that living according to biblical principles will produce an EXTREMELY successful and victorious life in Christ no matter what they have experienced and/or are experiencing in their lives, in order to find the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
We have 3 objectives to fulfill an Extreme Renewal:
1. Extreme Resources: Use the tools given by God to transform the lives of the youth (Local Church, God’s Word and the Holy Spirit) (Rom. 8:31, Gal. 2:20, 2º Tim. 1:7)
2. Extreme Transformation: Submit to the authority of the Word of God by teaching, correcting, and applying everything they have learned in 24/7 and other meetings in the church through activities where they can have the opportunity to apply what they have received. (Evangelism) (Romans 6:12-13, 2 Tim. 3:16-17, Mat. 4:1-11)
3. Extreme Ministers: Work as one body in Christ (Team Fellowship) (Prov. 6:6-11, 1 Cor 12:26-27)
We want to do a better job this year for the Lord. Our God was so faithful and merciful to us in 2009 that we want to give our best to Him every day and to seek for extreme excellence in our service to Him. It is our desire that the young people of our church learn how to develop and maintain an intimate relationship with God and always seek His will for their lives.
We started this year by delegating many responsibilities to young people so they can begin to form a discipline in serving the Lord and gradually be trained and proven in the perfect will of God in order to be extreme leaders in a future.
Plans for this year consist of the following:
- Seminars for young people to strengthen our mission
- Bible Camp
- Retreats
- Evangelistic campaigns
- Extra activities to encourage fellowship within the group
- Concerts, etc., all in accordance to the mission of extracting the best in the lives of the youth.
