KIDS BIBLE SCHOOL 2009
During this year, we have been continuing to serve God in this difficult but precious ministry, teaching the children the Word of God every week. This is our highest priority.
In May and June, we celebrated Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, in which all the members of our ministry participated: teachers, assistants, students, and our brothers and sisters in the congregation. To celebrate, we shared with the parents a lunch and a performance, in which the kids gave their parents gifts, sang songs, recited poetry, and expressed the love they have for their Mom and Dad.
We are in the middle of the year, and our service team is continuing to be strengthened through the Word of God in order to serve the Lord like He is worthy of. We are helping our kids grow spiritually and work as a team to support the parents of the families by teaching the kids how to have a righteous path with the Lord.
For the rest of the year, if God permits, we will continue studying the Word of God together with the students, as well as working to give guidance to the assistants in the ministry. We are also working on the celebration of “Día del Niño” (Kids’s Day), which is in October, where we will have a time of fellowship with the whole service team. Then, finally, we’ll finish the year with the students’ graduation.
Please support us in prayer, that all the kids grow spiritually, that God would give the service team members wisdom, and that we can minister correctly to the kids according to the Word of God and our testimonies. Also, please pray that our activities would develop successfully and that all would be for the glory of God.
“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child
thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
